This Photographer Mom Used Her Photography Skills To Depict Her Baby’s Monthly Milestones With Pizza Slices

Wedding and family photographer Dani Leigh Giannandrea decided to make each monthly milestone a special one and decided to capture all of it with pizza slices. Getting over the clichéd idea of candles and cakes she got her husband’s Italian culture in her baby’s monthly milestones. The photographer revealed how things were behind the camera and it wasn’t as appealing as the pictures are. She said, “There was pizza grease everywhere and the pizza slicer didn’t work well to cut each pizza into 12 slices, which is not the normal cut.” Hence she has one advice for parents planning to do something similar- Invest in a good quality pizza cutter.

The biggest challenge of the shoot was to get her son, Lorenzo, to stabilize and not crawl all over and away from the food. She posted the pictures on her blog and her social media handle after her son turned one. The pictures were meant to be viral and that is what happened with her blog.
