This Chinese Artist Combines Fresh Flowers And Electric Sparks, The Outcome Is Stunning

We know you might be wondering how electric waves when combined with flowers, give out something startling! It is possible and Hu Weiye has proved it. His project is called The Tentacles and he did some thorough research and put in a lot of hard work to capture that perfect moment of the two main elements of his project.

The whole idea and process of his project are quite elaborate but if we need to explain it in a nutshell then you can see it as electricity being passed through blooming fresh flowers creating some picturesque patterns that can be captured with his camera.

Hu has done a lot of study for 1 whole year to make this project successful as he learned about the high-voltage arc before beginning with the construction of the high-voltage capacitors that are capable of going through the air.

This is not the first time that Hu has created something this unique, in fact, his last project named Flirt was the inspiration behind this one. He surely is motivated towards producing outstanding art!

Hu was focused on every small detail for his project and the photos speak volumes about the effort that went behind achieving this. He needed expert guidance regarding the electric sparks generation as the camera should be able to capture the entire thing and that’s possible only when the flow of electricity is according to the requirements.

He kept testing the results before he was finally able to get the perfect picture, exactly what he had imagined in his mind. If one needs desirable results in the task that we have taken up, then we need to be prepared for some failures in the beginning. Hu did several experiments and after filling his studio with spoiled flowers, he finally had a “eureka” moment where he got a perfect click!

We really are impressed by this whole concept by Hu Weiye that displays the contrasting qualities of the two components, electric rays and flowers. Where electric rays are intensively strong, flowers are the epitome of elegance and mildness. When these two come together in the way Hu did, you get to witness a wonderful creation just as these pictures reflect!
