The mother never believed in her own talent but the son was adamant and wanted her to make realize about her own worth. With username “Gaddof” on Reddit, the son posted a picture of his mother holding her painting. Her mother assumed that nobody would like the painting and it would get no response. She was wrong and how!

People didn’t just love the picture but their way of appreciation was totally unique and other artists took their talent to appreciate her. It started with a username k__z on Reddit, who decided to make the uploaded picture reference and draw the painting of the lady holding her picture. He posted the picture in the as a response to the post.

This was another amusement for the artists on the platform. And the next one in line was lilyofthenight, she drew the painting of user k__z holding painting of Reddit user Gaddafo’s mother made of the swan. It was nothing but a painting inside a painting, within another painting.

It started a chain and then other users joined in. seamuswray, DidiBug were the next artists in the line. The way of next painting by Shitty Watercolor was different as they gave a cartoonish touch to the paintings.

The level of meme and art kept on increasing with every picture. The art has grown and so has the craze for the chain. The chain was so long that the picture of Gaddafo or his mom’s original swan painting is not even visible in further versions.

Then the picture came back to square one when Reddit user SHOWMEWHATYOUGOTTT decided to paint the swan back.

He added a more creative touch and painted a big white swan holding the art frame. It seemed as if it was hugging it to express how much it loved this work of art.
