Self-taught artist from South Africa Ricollin has been making waves on social media for his creative skills in the art of painting. A few days ago he went viral for creating a portrait using charcoal and recently he recreated the same portrait but with a twist. This time around he swapped charcoal for makeup products to produce something completely different.
Ricollin artfully crafted the portrait using lipstick lip-liner nail polish and body shimmer while documenting the entire process on his Instagram account. In the end the outcome was breathtaking and impressed many art enthusiasts who bear witness to the masterpiece.
Art comes in many different forms and painting remains one of the most popular expressions of that creative diversity. It allows artists to convey their emotions in a visually pleasing way through the application of their unique skills and imagination. Other forms of creative activity include music literature and dance but painting takes a leading role followed by crafts.
Many people believe that painting is limited to pencils and charcoal. However Ricollin proves them wrong by using makeup products something that was not very common in the art world. He ingeniously utilized various makeup products to highlight different elements of the portrait. Starting with lipstick Ricollin then outlined the portrait with a lip-liner pen adding more details to the portrait.
Finally he used blue nail polish and gold body shimmer to complete the portrait. The entire process was impressive and captivating to watch attracting over 22000 likes on Instagram. As one user noted "This is amazing! You have incredible talent! Because you have used makeup would you add a varnish on afterwards or would that smudge it?"
Ricollin's approach to art is unique and his ability to use makeup products to create a masterpiece is awe-inspiring. It's clear to see that his inventive mind combined with his impeccable skills does wonders for his passion for art. With his notable masterpieces out on display his inspiring work is set to attract more art lovers in the near future.
