Animals linger around to find shelter and safe corners to evade the onslaught of horrifying human deeds. They fear the presence of ferocious creatures around them and surrender to their big size and invincible power. But what if nature gives them the chance to live freely by making them grow on par with human structures? An artist named Vadim Solovyov has tried to take on the aftermath of this possibility with his pictures.
Vadim Solovyov is a man with artistic foresight. He can visualize the repercussions of the occurrence of unusual elements in the human world to a great extent. One could grab these facts by taking a look at his pictures. The artist has tried to portray animals bloomed enough to take on the invincible structure of the human world. He has captured the nasty spree of massive animals making their way on Russian streets.
One can see a big raccoon walking over to the river in St. Petersburg to have a splash with his paws in the water. It does not care about the building restricting his way and looks straight at his destination. It looks like the big furry creature is trying to follow hand-washing guidelines of the authorities in the view of the corona virus outbreak.
Taking on that art piece, the artist said that they “quietly make their way through the deserted evening city to the embankments and shyly rinse something in the water there. Thoroughly. Not less than 20 seconds”.
On the other hand, big crows take advantage of the serene playgrounds and look out for some fun rides. One of them sits proudly on a swing keeping an eye around. A chameleon rests on the top of a store with a leash connecting it to its owner. Penguins brave the snow-fall covering the human world with a sheet of snow. An octopus avoids the raindrops lashing the street by boarding a bus. Meanwhile, pigeons try to peep into the lives of humans.
Shedding light on his art pieces, he said, “Giant animals (are) only one of the features of this world. Their origin, the history of the world itself can be found in fragments from the texts under the posts. Many posts exist in the context of actual events in my city and country. Through my work, I often convey in a veiled (and sometimes weird) way important for me issues or problems of society (attitude to animals, politics, social flaws). But this, of course, does not exclude the fact that some works are an ironic “visual game” without additional deep meanings”.
Reveries are thus inspiring the majestic artistic sphere.
