After 10 Years Of Being A Lawyer, This Mom Is Happy To Hold The Paint Brushes And Engage In Ultrasound Painting
You need to believe that you are talented whether or not you have encountered your flair. Many times we get lost in this world which is moving so fast and get busy catching up to its speed. It becomes really hard to recognize what lies beyond our daily routine and that work life. There’s a lot beyond that, it just needs to be identified!
At a young age of 18, we need to make the big decision of choosing a field on which our career would depend in the future. It had been like this for quite long and will stay this way for as long as we let it. Laura Steerman stepped into the field of business and law and acquired a joint degree in the same.

She followed her law studies for the better part of a decade and the realization that her happiness lied in something else happened after those 10 years. You know what they say, “Better late than never!”
Like any other woman, Laura was excited when she found out that she was pregnant with a baby girl. But it wasn’t an easy journey for her. She had certain complications which led to her going for a checkup and ultrasound every now and then. We can’t even express how difficult it can be for a mom to go through a rough phase during her pregnancy!
Laura diverted her mind from all this stress by diving into the world of art. She started creating some art pieces and found peace as her fingers moved and the colors created beautiful patterns on the sheets! Whenever she received an ultrasound after a doctor’s visit, she would feel that those ultrasounds could be a little more “interactive” as they are so special and significant for every mom-to-be.

Her paints were an answer here and she knew the colors will make those ultrasounds as special as they should be! She painted every ultrasound of her unborn daughter and undoubtedly, they were stunning and one could not take eyes off them. Her friends were impressed by these ultrasound paintings and soon, her talent was recognized by a lot many people around her. How incredible it is to experience something like this!
She did not think twice after receiving such a great response to her paintings and took another step of quitting her job as a lawyer. This was absolutely the right one! She said, “It’s certainly a daunting decision to make, but I believe regret would be far more frightening if I didn’t go for it. Life is just too short to not live fully and be innovative with your creativity, time and ideas.” We totally agree with her here, it’s never easy but definitely worth it!
Those ultrasound paintings are not just colors spread over a sheet but they tell stories, pretty heart-warming stories which can make anyone emotional and that’s something which makes them exceptional!
